Abstract In this paper, NO_2 gas detection characteristics of Octa-dodecyloxy copper-phthalocyanine films prepared by LB method was investigated measuring the electrical conductance of these films. The electivity characteristics of these LB films exposed to NO_2, NO, and SO_2 gas was also investigated. Conductivity activation energy of these films as a function of temperature was obtained.
