Abstract In this study the error correction algorithm base Radial Basis Function network was proposed as a novel approach to forecast daily peak electric load more accurately. 2014-2016 KOREA dataset was employed to evaluate and validate the proposed approach. Obtained results were compared with feedforward network. This study showed that the proposed approach can be applied to forecast daily peak electric load effectively.
